"Terrazze delle Quadrighe"
The Quadrighe Terrace at the top of the monument to Victor Emanuel II is once again accessible after almost a century of being closed. From here you can see the most incredible views of Rome.
Two glass and steel lifts have been built to bring visitors to the terrace. Or if you're feeling energetic you can climb the 196 steps from the terrace where the cafeteria is located.
This is said to be the highest point in Rome and offers the most remarkable show: Rome itself.
