Orologio del Pincio (The Pincio Clock) - Hotel Sonya***

The Pincio hydrochronometer was made in 1873 out of wood and cast iron.

The clock was created by the brilliant Father Giovan Battista Embriaco, and after achieving great success at the National Exhibition in Paris it was brought to Rome and placed in a splendid fountain in the Villa Borghese park.

The clock has been restored and is now on view.
