Fantastic hotel in a prime location

We just completed a 3 night stay at Hotel Sonya and loved every minute of it. We stayed in a quad room (#325) which offered good space for a family of 4, a large bathroom even by North American standards although the shower was quite small. The blow dryer, for the ladies who care, was top quality with lots of power and heat. We never had issues with hot water and the pressure in the shower was excellent.

The beds were a little on the soft side - not a criticism, just an observation for those who care about these things. We found them quite comfy and slept very well.

The location cannot be beat. We walked everywhere - even to The Vatican. Lots of great shopping and restaurants around plus a grocery store across the street.

The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. Again, no conplaints at all. They were always willing to help by placing locals calls for us and booking attractions.

Breakfast was standard continental fare with hard boiled eggs and cakes. The made-to-order cappuccino was fantastic ...I'll be dreaming about it....hot chocolate was great, too (according to the kids).

If you are looking for a decently priced hotel, very clean, in a great location you will not be disappointed with Hotel Sonya.
