Villa Strohl Fern
Just like every year, Villa Strohl Fern, is open to the public for the summer. The villas was built between 1879 and the end of the 19th century by Alsatian aristocrat Alfred Wilhelm Strohl, who was exiled from his homeland as a result of the Franco-Prussian war. Free guided tours of maximum 25 people will take place every second Sunday (excluding the month of August). They start at the studio Trombadori (where there is a museum space and an archive) and then continue through the private garden and on to the main Casino, built after 1890 to resemble a medieval castle. Open daily 09.00-22.30. Entrance free
